**Job Description
The Financial Case Manager plays a vital role in our facility's leadership team, working closely with clients, staff, and external partners to ensure the success of our programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring follow-up appointments are made within 7 days of discharge from our facility
- Coordinating directly with referents and payors to ensure continued care needs are met
- Collecting Co-pays, Deductibles, and private pay fees within 24 hours of the client's admission
- Assisting patients in staying focused on their treatment by addressing employer and legal needs
**Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of collection policies and procedures, specifically related to Co-pays, Insurance Deductibles, setting up payment plans, and upfront private pay payments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
- Familiarity with online applications such as InstaMed, Navient, and Availity
