Job Title: Agua Fab Fabricator Department: Tufting
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary: The Fabricator is responsible for assisting and assembling in the aqua fab area. Responsible for fabricating and assembling logos and preparing for shipping.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To operate the lift truck to move products
- To assemble logo’s
- To package products for shipping
- To operate the glue gun machine
- Prepare prior days fabrication for inspection
- Trim excess glue/tape from edges of logo/mat
- Flip log/mats face up and inspect for defects
- Align multiple part logos to ensure proper fit
- Brush/blow/clean face to remove excess loose fibers
- Once final inspection/measurements are completed by lead fabricator or Aqua Fab supervisor, prepare logos for shipping
- Roll, shrink wrap and plastic wrap all logo mats for storage or shipping. (Verify if freight or FedEx) Include order number , item description and art approval
- Preassemble waterjet cut parts in accordance to art approval provide in job folder
- Confirm colors and pile direction match layout
- Follow proper fabrication process as setup by Aqua Fab supervisor for initial and final glue setup procedures, using a combination glue guns (Hot Melt) or Epoxy.
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance for glue, glue guns and drum/pail unloader system and tools.
- Return job folder to lead fabricator
- Keep fabrication area clear of debris and scrap materials
Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of stand up
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
