What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Warehouse Associate position at The Recreational Group LLC?
Purchase Green Artificial Grass is looking for a friendly, helpful, and energetic Customer Service / Warehouse Associate who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. The associate will assist with customers and vendors by answering questions, and processing orders to successfully meet customer needs! The associate will also stage, load, and unfold finished product and raw materials and stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Packaging finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. -
- Staging and loading finished products onto truck.
- Unloading raw materials from truck.
- Operating forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
- Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents.
- Provide estimates, process invoices and accept payment from customers and contractors.
- Entering customer leads into lead management tool.
- Performing preventive maintenance on forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
- Calculate amounts such as square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, discounts and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Maintain knowledge of products and warehouse organization.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
