What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Driver position at The Recreational Group LLC?
Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate is critical to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service. The main duties of the warehouse associate are to stage, load, unload finished products, raw materials, stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Packaging finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
2. Staging finished products for loading.
3. Loading finished products onto the truck.
4. Unloading raw materials from the truck.
5. Operating forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
6. Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents.
7. Ensure all invoices/paperwork are properly signed and handed in to the designee.
8. Quality control of inventory by keeping records of stock, completing damage reports, cycle counts, warehouse organization, and safety concerns.
9. Performing preventive maintenance on forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
10. Interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
11. Regular on-site attendance during business hours according to the work schedule.
12. Cleaning and maintaining work area.
13. Turning off and securing equipment when not in use.
14. Drive and deliveries as needed.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Full Time/On-Site: Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays
Valid Driver's License
Qualifications:
1. Warehouse experience (1 year)
2. Forklift experience (1 year)
