Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced accountant to specialize in job costing. The job will be responsible for accurately tracking and analyzing cost associated with specific projects. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Track, Analyze and close projects for assigned business units
- Monitor job costing budgets, forecast project cost and provide insight into potential cost overruns
- Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure effective cost management and communication of financial information
- Complete a monthly job costing analysis that tracks cost, margins, and expenses by each project for each business unit
- Provide support for the day-to-day accounting operations
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.

- Month end closing experience
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferred
- Experience with Quickbooks, preferred
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3 - 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA, preferred not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
