Commercial Concrete Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing commercial concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and communicate accurate project information to all parties involved, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Review and verify subcontractor scopes, terms, and conditions to ensure company protection.
- Develop project cost budgets from preconstruction documentation and procure subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers based on scope, pricing, quality, and reputation.
- Collaborate with Field Operations Personnel to develop an accurate project plan and serve as the focal point for customer communications.
- Prepare and submit submittal requirements, assemble plans/specifications files, and implement and monitor safety and hazard communication programs.
- Monitor Quality Control, review invoicing for approval, and track accounts receivable information for intermediate progress payments.
- Maintain logs for submittals, RFI, field equipment, concrete orders, and other project-related activities.
- Prepare Invoicing/Pay Applications for the project and maintain the schedule for internal planning purposes.
- Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team when necessary and create change orders after understanding customer expectations.
- Execute a detailed closeout for the project and perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction standards/specifications, concrete mix designs, reinforcing shop drawings, finish applications, and other relevant areas.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies and lead by example.
