HRKS is looking for a confident, business-savvy HR professional to join us in a consulting role with one of our valued clients. This onsite position offers the chance to make a real impact, working directly at the client’s facility in College Park. We’re an seeking an HR Consultant with management experience and exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills — someone who approaches challenges with grace, professionalism, and a calm, composed demeanor. The ideal candidate balances a people-first mindset with strong business judgment and can navigate difficult conversations with ease and confidence.
This onsite consulting role offers 15–30 hours per week and the exciting possibility of converting to a full-time direct hire position with our client. If you’re looking for a flexible role with long-term potential, we want to hear from you!

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Must have experience leading and managing projects, teams, or initiatives — whether as an independent contributor with leadership responsibilities or in a more formal management role.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of business operations, strategies, and how HR drives organizational success.
• Strong decision-making and strategic thinking skills backed by real-world experience.
• Confidence and experience in delivering impactful presentations and leading discussions.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skilled at using interpersonal abilities to build consensus and inspire others to align with new ideas or perspectives.
• Ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.
• Availability during standard business hours with the flexibility to work onsite at our client’s College Park facility.
Education and Experience
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent HR-related experience is required.
• PHR and/or SPHR certificate is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Generalist practitioner within a corporate environment, is preferred.
• Experience serving as the sole HR manager in an organization is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage HR functions independently.
• Previous consulting experience is a plus.
