The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for a Police Officer in the Campus Police Department. Duties include routine patrolling and securing of all campus buildings; responding to all complaints from the College community; enforcing all state and College regulations; and monitoring all social functions and sporting events.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a working knowledge of the Virginia Code, and be able to obtain a bond to carry a weapon. Certification as a Law Enforcement Officer through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is preferred. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
