What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cocktail Server position at The Reeds at Shelter Haven?
The Cocktail Server is responsible for handling face-to-face contact with guests. They are directly responsible for taking all beverage orders and serving the requested items to guests. They are ultimately responsible for the service and cleaning of their assigned tables and sections. Duties/Responsibilities: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to safe food handling and storage.
Offer friendly and warm greetings and social conversation with guests. Promptly take drink orders from their assigned tables or sections. Correctly enter the guests' orders into the selected point of sale system. Provide world-class guest service by ensuring all drink orders are efficiently served to the table and checking with the guests that their orders are correct; make any necessary corrections as quickly as possible.
Remove soiled glassware, plates, and silverware from assigned tables and sections as the guest finishes their drinks. Perform daily and weekly cleaning and side work assignments and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Must be flexible and willing to work in all venues as directed. Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays Other duties as assigned.
