Job Summary:
Servers at The Reef are responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by delivering attentive and efficient service. They must have strong knowledge of the menu, be able to make recommendations, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, specials, and pairings.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables and side stations.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process payments and ensure proper handling of checks and cash transactions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
