Position Needed:
Garden Technician – 35-45 hours per week, 6 days a week. Saturday/Sunday shift is a maintenance shift, representing a significantly shortened workday (2-4 hours). This person needs to be reliable, on time, have a good attitude and have a willingness to do repetitive tasks. Must have reliable vehicle and be located within 30 minutes of Paw Paw. Pay will start at $20/hr with upward mobility depending on experience/work ethic.
Job Description:
- This position will be involved in garden tasks on a daily basis which include but are not limited to: lollipopping, defoliating, transplanting plants, training plants, installing trellis, propagation (cloning) duties, and mopping floors.
- This person will answer to the assistant Director of Cultivation directly, and the Director of Cultivation indirectly.
- Must have the ability to climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in warm, humid environment.
- Upward mobility with compensation is possible if candidate has willingness to be trained in Seed to Sale tracking system (METRC) to take on additional compliance responsibilities. Inquire within.
- Must be 21 years old and pass a background check.
Education and Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, experience within the Cannabis Industry is NOT required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
