What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at The Regency Assisted Living?
The Regency Senior Living, located in the heart of Glen Cove since 1993, is licensed as an Assisted Living Residence (ALR) with an Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) license as well, which allows our residents to comfortably “age in place”.
We are looking for experienced Receptionists to manage our very busy front desk and phones. This is a very important position that includes administrative and clerical duties.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests, residents and others in a courteous, polite and welcoming manner.
- Monitors all incoming public traffic.
- Ensures all visitors log in and out of the facility.
- Respond to the needs of residents, families and visitors by providing immediate assistance.
- Operate paging/telephone system as required.
- Answer telephone, determine nature of the call and relay information or route call as appropriate and to the correct party.
- Monitors the security cameras
- Responds immediately to emergency situations including the pulling of the emergency cord & sounding of the fire alarm
Requirements
- Customer Service Experience a PLUS
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate articulately.
- Ability to relate to seniors compassionately.
- Enthusiastic personality.
Hours of Operation
- Tuesday-Saturday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.75 per hour

- 8 hour shift
