What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Research Coordinator position at The Regenesis Project?
Highly competitive neuroscience research position.
Current graduate or post-graduate students accepted.
This position requires the individual to:
1. Manage and coordinate various clinical research projects.
a. Development and management of specific IRBs; FDA correspondence; data collection, compilation, and analysis; opportunities to write and submit abstracts and papers for publication.
2. Receive training and certification to work as a TMS technician.
3. Receive training and certification to work as a TCD Ultrasound technician.
4. Administer neurocognitive tests to patients.
5. Facilitate functional MRI studies, paradigms, and neuronavigation.
6. Travel off-site to train patients and run studies.
7. Work well with neurologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, and radiologists while maintaining a professional attitude.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred: in neuroscience, biopsychology, or a similar field)
2. An interest in the neuroscience field (and to various career paths within this field).
3. The capacity to be highly focused and self-motivated, independent, and organized in the workplace.
4. Other important attributes for success: adaptability, professional demeanor, ability to socialize and empathize with patients, and a willingness to learn and work as a part of a team.
5. 1-2 years of experience in a similar field is preferred.
