Position Overview:
Our therapists diagnose and treat mental health disorders, create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances, meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary, and conduct ongoing assessments of client progress.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports.
- Evaluate and diagnose mental health diagnoses.
- Create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent care for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team by participating in weekly team meetings.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve goals.
- Provide psychotherapy services in person and virtually.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (such as PIMSY, Valant, AdvancedMD)
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
- Candidates should be independently licensed (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.) in Minnesota.
- Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical progress notes.
- Candidates will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
