Position Overview:
The Remedy Mental Health is looking to add a Women’s Mental Health Therapist to our growing team. This role will provide specialized therapeutic support to individuals dealing with mental health challenges related to pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, grief and loss, childbirth, postpartum, and hormonal mood disorders such as Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Perimenopausal Depression. This position offers a mix of women’s health and general therapy work based on experience level and patient need.

The Women’s Mental Health Therapist will also have the opportunity to develop and facilitate therapy groups, as well as offer couples and family therapy related to women’s health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide individual, group, and family therapy focused on women's health-related mental health concerns.
· Develop and facilitate specialized therapy groups, including Perinatal therapy and other women’s mental health sessions.
· Maintain a caseload of both women’s health and general therapy patients, gradually increasing the focus on women’s health as needed.
· Create personalized treatment plans for each patient, making adjustments as necessary to ensure effective care.
· Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and provide diagnoses.
· Ensure all client records and documentation are accurate, timely, and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
· Provide both in-person and virtual therapy services based on patient needs.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in weekly meetings to ensure holistic care for patients.
· Utilize evidence-based interventions in a creative, patient-centered approach to help clients achieve treatment goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university.
· Independent licensure in Minnesota or Wisconsin (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.), and readiness to be licensed in the other state with logistical assistance by The Remedy.
· Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) or substantial experience in women’s mental health-related therapy.
· Experience conducting Diagnostic Assessments (DAs), creating treatment plans, and documenting clinical progress.
· Familiarity with insurance credentialing or ability to become credentialed.
· Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as PIMSY, Valant, or AdvancedMD.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
· Compassionate engagement with clients while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Experience working in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting.
· Experience facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational programs.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
