Gopher Sport is seeking an exceptional Brand Manager to drive growth for the SPARK curriculum and professional development business.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, this role will be responsible for achieving annual SPARK sales and profit goals through the development and execution of brilliant marketing, sales, and content delivery plans. The ideal candidate will have successful experience in leading a brand, marketing K12 curriculum, and driving technology solutions.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage SPARK business to ensure outcomes are achieved including marketing, strategic partnerships, content, professional development, selling effort, and more
- Act as sole guardian of the brand's financial performance including taking ownership of the brand P&L and executing plans to achieve targeted profitability
- Create, communicate, and execute SPARK Brand Plans that support both the annual brand goals and larger corporate objectives
- Drive understanding of the customer and market and translate this knowledge into winning brand strategies
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to ensure successful execution of brand plan and maximize marketing effectiveness
- Collect and analyze measurable results on activities and report on the outcomes
- Administer the SPARK Marketing budget, ensuring spend is within approved limits and drives a strong return on investment
- Contribute as an active member of a dynamic management team
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success leading a brand including P&L responsibility
- Experience marketing K12 curriculum brands or related products
- A proven track record of leveraging technology solutions in curriculum to improve user experience and adoption
- A lifestyle, educational, or professional background that is aligned with the company's physical education purpose
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education or related field
