Job Overview:
The Renaissance, an Eliza Jennings community, and a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator, (9to 5) and every other weekend. Some holidays are required on a rotational basis.
Our Activity Assistants are responsible for providing life enriching and engaging activities to our memory care and long-term care residents. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development of activities, then facilitate and encourage participation to those activities.
- Set up and clean up activity areas.
- Accompany residents on community outings.
- Assist in the preparation of the community calendar of events, including brainstorming and researching new ideas to add to the calendar.
- Assure safe and sanitary conditions related to activities.
- Assistance with large campus events and holidays.
- Programs include but are not limited to: Church, bingo, exercise, sing a long, socials, birthday parties, trivia, brain games, themed events, holiday programs and more!
- being fun, festive, and having a positive attitude are a must for this position!
