Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources function at a fast-paced security company. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for people, systems, and process improvement who thrives in a dynamic, hand-on environment .

Your role will include maintaining employee records, assisting with the recruitment process, scheduling interviews, and providing general administrative support to the HR department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Compile and update employee records (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick

leaves)

  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing,

recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)

  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background

checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.

  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
  • Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Other HR-related duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/

administrative position

  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
  • Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
