As a substitute teacher for Morgan Local Schools, you will play a vital role in creating a classroom environment that is effective, safe, and conducive to learning. You will have the unique ability to teach with a rapidly changing classroom population of various skills and progress levels. Adaptability is key.
Whether you are a seasoned educator or just starting your career, we offer online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators to give you the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed in the classroom.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a substitute teacher, you must possess a bachelor's degree in any field of study. Additionally, you must undergo BCI & FBI background checks dated within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education. If you do not already have these checks, Renhill Group can assist you at one of the area's lowest rates. You must also obtain a substitute teaching license or provide a copy of your teaching license. Our team will help you with the process if needed, and the cost is $25 paid directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
