The Server Assistant/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of house at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. •Education & Experience:
•Proven experience as a food expeditor or in another restaurant-related position.
•Understanding of health and safety regulations in a restaurant environment.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
•Must be able to stand and move quickly for up to 6 hours.
•Requires bending, kneeling, and frequently lifting trays weighing up to 45 pounds.
•Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and cleaning chemicals.

- Facilitate the smooth flow of orders between servers and kitchen staff.
- Prioritize and ensure correct order preparation.
- Assist in final plate presentation, including garnishing and setup.
- Verify order accuracy, presentation, and temperature before delivery.
- Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of orders to maintain efficient service.
- Identify and eliminate service or kitchen obstacles.
- Inspect the kitchen and dining areas for quality, sanitation, and safety standards; assist with cleaning as needed.
- Communicate special guest requests or modifications between kitchen and wait staff.
- Handle customer concerns professionally to maintain restaurant reputation.
