What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club?
Job Summary
Our busy season is upon us and we’re looking for an Event Coordinator to join the team and help run our events department. This position is responsible for lending support to our Events Manager in all aspects of event operation from sales to execution in events of varying sizes and purposes.
Essential Duties include:
*Help respond to event inquiries via email or phone call
*Help maintain marketing and social media content and updates
*Help create, edit and confirm timeline, layout and space planning of events
*Help set up menu tastings and rehearsals, assist with food and beverage orders and other supplies
*Help train and oversee event staff from set-up to breakdown, assist in creating schedules and event staff supervision
*Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, professional, and courteous service throughout the event process
*Assist in marketing efforts to promote the golf course as a premier event venue
*Assist with providing on-site event coordination, ensuring the smooth flow of the event and addressing any last-minute changes or challenges.
Qualifications:
*must have professional and proficient communication skills
*must have attention to detail and organizational abilities
*prior event coordination experience helpful
*must have current food handler's permit and OLCC card
*must have reliable transportation and ability to work variety of hours and days including weekends
*knowledge of TripleSeat and Canva preferred but not necessary
*Previous experience in a golf course or country club setting is highly desirable.
