Maintenance Director

Job Summary
The Residence at Eden Green is a small, privately owned Assisted Living community searching for a full-time Maintenance Director. The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, safety, and functionality of the Assisted Living community. This role oversees the housekeeping team, managing building repairs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for resident and associates. Some weekends and on-call status will be required.

This is a full-time, salaried position. The company offers benefits that include single and family coverage.

Responsibilities
- Hands on maintenance tasks such as apartment cleaning and renovations, carpet cleaning, and housekeeping assistance, when needed

- Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance tasks, and schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Recruit, train, and supervise the housekeeping associates

- Conduct monthly fire drills and document outcomes
- Respond promptly to all emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.
- Manage the maintenance and housekeeping budget
- Collaborate with other departments to address community related needs
- Contract with and oversee landscaping and groundskeeping activities to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and safe outdoor environment
- Manage inventory of maintenance and housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure availability for ongoing needs

Experience
- Strong background in facilities management, including supervising teams and managing projects.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
