During our expansive time serving the community we have cultivated many successful and continuing relationships with numerous community partners including Rocky Mountain Health Plans Medicaid, Colorado Health First, various home health agencies, hospice agencies, local hospitals, and physician’s groups. We continue to grow and advance each year to meet the changing needs of the residents and population service. Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff. , paratransit, or school bus driving is highly desirable.
Duties
- Transport residents in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Must have orginazational skills.
- Communicate effectively with residents regarding schedules, and any changes that may occur during transit.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior and exterior.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns during the journey.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bus driving or related fields such as delivery driving or paratransit services.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with passengers of diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures regarding transportation services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
