Overview
Position will not begin until May 27, 2025 for training with camp opening the following week. Flexible hours will be required as there are some weekend events scheduled. As camp will run for 10 weeks - the position will only allow for one week of approved time off (unpaid) during that time.

esponsible for planning, leading, and implementing core and non-core programs and experiences for children in a small group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group.

Essential Job Functions
Include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Help write and implement a weekly schedule for your camp group.
- Organize and lead a variety of small and large group activities each week. Activities may include crafts, nature, songs, games, opening and closing ceremonies, swimming, archery, canoeing, golf, tennis, fishing, and laser tag. This includes time spent on the bus.
- Identify and respond to camper behavior issues.
- Ensure Camp Glade is kept clean, organized, and free of litter inside and outside.
- Communicate with parents about participant's experiences and report concerns to Camp Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendance.
- Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
- Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp and all program areas. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your campers' safety and their whereabouts at all times.
- Attend scheduled training seminars and department meetings.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must obtain or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers certification
