- Managing the influx of customer orders
- Ensuring order accuracy
- Adding garnishes
- Perfecting plating
- Relaying customer complaints
- Maintaining proper sanitation standards
- Coordinating orders
- Checking and garnishing plates
- Organizing tickets
- Communicating with kitchen staff and servers
- Monitoring food quality
- Overseeing final plating of dishes
- Ensuring clear communication between servers and kitchen staff
- Carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables
- Communicating with waiters to assess their needs
- Transporting food from the expediting counter to the appropriate table
- Assist with cleanup after the conclusion of service
