Pro Shop Assistant / Concierge
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pro Shop Assistant / Concierge to join our team at The Resort at Longboat Key Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in the pro shop, ensuring a positive experience for guests.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Effectively utilize point-of-sale (POS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage transactions and interactions.
- Educate customers about tennis programs, features, and benefits, promoting our services and driving sales.
- Deliver exceptional concierge services, ensuring guest needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilize Microsoft Office skills to manage administrative tasks and reports.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes exceeding 40 pounds, as well as work in outdoor temperatures.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights, with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in a second language other than English is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the tennis industry or playing college tennis at a national junior level is preferred.
