What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance position at The Resort at Longboat Key Club?
We are looking to add a Golf Groundskeeper (Equipment Operator) to our team. See below for details and to apply for the position. Essential Functions:
- Operates a variety of equipment.
- Operates utility vehicles and small trucks.
- Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions.
- Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use. Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance.
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions while operating golf course maintenance equipment including: mowing, ranking bunkers, weed eating, edging, and other landscape maintenance tasks.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required (Preferred)
- Prior landscape maintenance or golf course maintenance experience (plus but not required)
- Possess a general understanding of golf course maintenance experience (plus but not required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Have reliable transportation and be on time for work.
- Ability to complete tasks on time and in coordination with other crew members and their tasks.
- Follow instructions and directions set forth by the Superintendent.
Schedule: Flexibility in schedule and willing to work every other weekend or as needed
