ARE YOU THE DEGREED NUTRITIONIST FOR WIC WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

To excel as a Degreed Nutritionist for the WIC program at The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, a strong foundation in nutrition is vital. A bachelor's degree in nutrition or a closely related field is a prerequisite, alongside the minimum competencies outlined by the California State Department of Health Supplemental Nutrition Program for WIC. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a community health care services setting, which will enhance your ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be promoting nutritional education and fostering relationships with families.

Familiarity with relevant software and tools will streamline your nutrition assessments and counseling sessions, allowing you to provide the best support possible. If you possess dedication, knowledge, and a passion for community health, this position is tailored for you!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a closely related field.
