This position involves heavy costing but also gets into the traditional month end close in addition to heavy analysis of business operations.

This individual need strong critical thinking skills, the ability to make decisions, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. If you are an independent self-starter, this is a great position for you.

What you will do :

• Maintain and track cost for ongoing and completed construction jobs including variance analysis
• Develop and maintain standard costing
• Month end close : journal entries and account reconciliations
• Monthly reporting on cost variances
• Analyze changes in products to determine effects on costing
• Operational analysis on costing, inventory, and product for management reporting
• Develop and analyze product costs
• Revenue Recognition
• Help to understand cost trends and other analytics to understand impact on sales and profitability
• Analyze specific areas of the business on a monthly basis and work with management to improve results
