Wok Cook – Full-Service/Upscale Thai Restaurant – North Kansas City, MO
A well-established, locally owned Thai restaurant in North KC, MO is hiring experienced Wok Cooks to join their team. This full-service restaurant is known for its commitment to authentic cuisine and a culture of employee partnership and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wok stations with speed and accuracy during service.
- Maintain prep levels, ensuring freshness and adherence to recipes.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and BOH Manager to uphold food quality and safety standards.
- Follow all food safety protocols (ServSafe certification required).
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and inventory management as needed.
- Contribute to a team-oriented, supportive kitchen culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of wok cooking experience in a full-service Asian restaurant.
- Current Food Handler or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to work 5-6 hour shifts, 35-40 hours per week.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
- Paid Holidays: July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
- Free Meals: Every shift.
- PTO: 5 days after 6 months (with full-time hours).
- Raises: $0.25 - $0.50 increases after 6 months, based on performance and skill level (Fried Rice, Stir Fry, or Noodle Master & Trainer; potential for Key Holder/Asst Kitchen Manager).

Schedule:
- 35-40 hours per week.
- Shift Options: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
