We are assisting our client, McCullough Kubota in Gurnee, IL in recruitment for an outside Territory Sales Rep for their Northern Chicago market.

Bilingual is a plus!

Base salary plus uncapped commissions, and company vehicle.

This position offers a guaranteed salary for the first 6 months of 100k and will then convert to a low base plus commission which should target the 175k range total.

M-F work schedule with 1 / 2 day required once per month on Saturdays.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through face-to-face sales presentations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various methods, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct in-person meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value of our products / services.

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline using CRM software, track progress, and manage follow-ups.
  • Prepare detailed sales quotes and proposals, ensuring all client specifications are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer service) to ensure client needs are met and to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall sales growth initiatives.
  • Required skills and experience :

  • Experience in sales to the construction, agricultural, landscaping or similar trades
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently, set goals, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
  • Bilingual a plus
