Our client is a growing company selling, renting and repairing heavy equipment for construction, municipalities, landscapers, and agricultural customers.
Proud of their family tradition and culture, Ahearn Equipment is seeking a personable, motivated and experienced Outside Sales Repfor their Hudson, NH branch covering Southern and Central NH customers.
Some office time is required in Hudson, NH, but this individual must also be willing to travel as needed throughout the territory for business development, customer visits, product demonstrations, etc.
This individual must be comfortable with a commission structure with realistic opportunity to earn 80-150k in the first year with a comprehensive benefit package, Company vehicle, phone and gas card.
Seeking hands on, team player willing to wear many hats to help this new branch prosper.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Service existing accounts, establish new accounts and obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
· Support customers and help them succeed by providing information, supplies, equipment inspections, demonstrations, and recommendations.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Actively engage in social media to promote sales.
· Collaborate with Sales Director and other sales representatives to maximize productivity.
· Coordinating with Inventory Manager daily on machine builds or change orders required to ensure specific timelines are met.
· Coordinating with F&I Manager to ensure customers are made aware of all finance/lease programs as well as extended service plan and extended warranty options available.
· Help increase the sales, profit, and productivity of each customer by offering large capital construction equipment.
· Actively identify and engage prospective customers and offer assistance or direction to any customer that can benefit from our services.
· Assist customers by being readily available, actively communicating and listening carefully to their requests through various means of communication.
· Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
· Describe all optional equipment and services available for customer purchases.
· Build strong rapport and life-long relationships with customers.
· Learn to overcome difficult situations, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
· Actively use and update Client Relationship Management System (CRM).
· Be an active participant in Ahearn Equipment’s positive culture by adhering to and always promoting the AE-10.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 2-3 Years of Construction Equipment Sales experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM software.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
