Outside Sales Representative – Resort / Destination Apparel
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative for Destination Markets will play a crucial role in growing the Apparel business in the Northeast territory, with a major focus on the Resort retail business and creating a sustainable business model to expand into other verticals under the Destination Market.
The person in this role will be responsible for assessing the opportunity, identifying the commercial accounts and customers, implementing the GTM strategies and owning the account management aspect of sales within the region in an efficient, effective and profitable manner.
Compensation in the 60k range plus commissions, travel expenses and competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Build out a territory road map on distribution points for the Resort business and identify key customers both existing and new to achieve commercial targets set by the business.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and new customers to our brand
- Proactively plan and execute regular structured sales visits within assigned territory in line with company expectations.
- Be a ‘road warrior’ and be prepared to travel frequently to build relationships and drive revenue.
- Collaborate internally with the product team to create a range of products that are relevant to the business.
- Work cross functionally with finance, customer service and demand planning to ensure the correct policies and procedures are executed to drive commercial results and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and execute strategic customer plans (where applicable) to increase revenue, market share and brand equity.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Dept. to create the tools and collateral required to meet the customer and market needs.
- Maintain and utilize the company CRM platform for the territory.
- Create and execute brand marketing collateral and resources to deliver impactful, personalized presentations to the customer.
- Provide feedback internally to the relevant departments on market trends, customer trends and product trends for the Destination market.
- Manage travel and expense costs within the territory.
