What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Relations/Social Media Manager position at The Retreat on the Hill?
We are seeking a creative, organized, and results Manager to spearhead our customer relations including online presence and influencer partnerships for our luxury glamping retreat and our adjacent Food sport and entertainment venue.
Responsibilities will include managing our social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, creating content that reflects the retreat’s unique offerings, and collaborating with influencers to promote our brand to adventure seekers, nature lovers as well as entertainment and travel. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling, an eye for design, experience in building communities online and relationships on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
1. Plan, create, and publish engaging and high-quality content that reflects our brand’s aesthetic and voice. This includes:
- Reels: 5 per week showcasing unique aspects of the glamping experience (e.g., dome views, A-frame tent opening, guest adventures).
- Stories: Daily posts (7 per day) with behind-the-scenes content, guest features, polls, Q&A, and live updates.
- Carousels: 2 per week featuring in-depth guides, testimonials, and destination highlights.
- Static Posts: 3 per week (mix of beautiful imagery, updates, and promotions).
Social Media Strategy:
1. Develop and execute a content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok with cohesive branding and messaging.
2. Optimize posts for each platform based on trends, analytics, and audience behavior.
Community and Customers Engagement:
1. Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
2. Monitor and grow our community by actively engaging with followers, potential guests, and local businesses.
3. Engage with vistos to ensure positive experience in our venues.
4. Support Pickleball Programs offered at the park.
Influencer Collaboration:
1. Identify and reach out to micro-influencers (10k-50k followers) and mid-tier influencers who align with our target audience.
2. Develop creative partnerships, including free stays and incentives in exchange for promotional content, collaborations, or giveaways.
3. Coordinate content creation schedules with influencers and ensure proper tagging and mentions.
Analytics and Reporting:
1. Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, click-through rates, etc.).
2. Provide weekly reports with actionable insights to refine strategies and boost engagement and bookings.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
