Director of Human Resources - Full Time, hybrid remote based in Riverhead, Hauppauge, or East Hampton office locations.
Implement Human Resource processes, systems, and procedures which support the Agency's strategic plan and annual objectives and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Agency. The person in this role is responsible for all aspects of HR's daily operations and provides support and guidance to the Agency's executive team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Retention
- Consistently seek ways of improving the Agency's employee value proposition and position the Agency as an employer of choice
- Recruit high-quality candidates in the most cost-effective manner for all exempt-level and Director roles within the Agency
Create job postings and post positions via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Human Resources or related field; 10 years of experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of two years of experience as the head of a Human Resources Department or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position. SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Required capabilities :
Candidates must pass SCR, SEL, and OCFS Fingerprint background checks before hire.
