What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at The Retreat?
We are looking for a friendly and polished professional with minimum one year front desk/receptionist experience to join our team at The Retreat in Durham. Our massage and skin care studio is comprised of a highly trained, and experienced team dedicated to providing massage and skin care treatments to both an established, and growing clientele.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet and provide exceptional service to every guest at The Retreat
- Answer phones and use booking software to schedule appointments according to The Retreat standards
- Manage client check-in/check-out, perform retail sales, and process payments in our POS
- Regularly check voicemails and emails, and respond in a timely manner
- Assist clients with paperwork as needed
- Engage in positive and productive communication with providers
- Launder and fold sheets and towels ongoing throughout shift
- Maintain a clean and professional environment
- Provide daily cleaning duties (sanitizing, dusting, swiffering, vacuuming, etc) throughout studio
- Monitor inventory and regularly communicate needs to management
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities according to The Retreat policies
- Regularly inform management about mechanics and challenges of day to day business
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the entire Retreat team and management
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and client information
- Potential Available Shifts: Tuesday 2 pm - 9 pm; Thursday 8 am - 3 pm; Friday 1:30 pm - 8 pm; Saturday 12pm - 6 pm (others as needed on occasion for backfill)
