HOTLINE RESPONDER : Monday - Friday 8 : 30a-4 : 30pm
Respond to incoming agency calls, in person walk-ins, or agency webchats to conduct client triage screenings for potential victims of domestic violence and / or sexual assault.
Other responsibilities include :
- Maintain communication with other internal programs for those seeking or receiving services.
- Maintain related statistics, reports for hotline calls, client services and volunteer information in the agency client database.
- Process work waivers for survivors of domestic violence referred through Department of Social Services.
- Assist with hotline training to new staff and volunteers with ongoing support as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
- Experience in crisis intervention and / or information hotline; the ability to handle crisis situations in a trauma informed approach.
- HS Diploma or equivalent, degree in Social Work or related area is preferred.
- Computer literate, MS Office and cloud based phone system skills.
