Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests promptly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours, ensuring timely seating.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Keep the host/host area clean and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of guest relations practices within the restaurant industry is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
