What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manhole Repair Technician position at The Reybold Group of Companies, Inc.?
Reybold is seeking an experienced Manhole Repair Technician that can provide creative solutions to rehabilitating manhole structures and pipes. In this role you will be responsible for applying cementitious and epoxy coating to sanitary sewers and storm drain manholes, sealing brick and precast structures, and building bench and inverts for newly installed structures. Additionally, this technician will support the growing Construction Technology Department while utilizing the MH Rehab expereince to train and lead a new specialty team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rehabbing manholes via cementitious and/or epoxy coating
- Replacing manhole frames and covers
- Building new bench and inverts
- Plugging pipe segments as needed
- Sealing and stopping infiltration around the pipe connecters, seams, and cracks
- Installing various frame seal products as needed
- Sealing brick and precast structures using hydraulic cement , chemical grout, etc.
- Working with a concrete spray rig to rehabilitate manholes and hand trowel when necessary
- Supporting the CCTV Team while utilizing the MH Rehab experience to train and lead a new specialty team
- Position requires out of town travel
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- Minimum three years of manhole rehab experience
- Extensive experience using hydraulic cement
- Experience using a grinder and hammer drill
- Sandblasting and Concrete spray rig experience is a plus
- Valid Drivers License
- CDL is a plus

Physical Demands
