As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our team and handle cases from pre-litigation through trial.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as necessary.
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court proceedings.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Work collaboratively with legal staff, paralegals, and case managers to ensure efficient case handling.
- Stay updated on Florida personal injury laws and legal trends affecting case strategies.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Minimum of 5 trials while sitting 1st chair. (Preferred)
- Strong trial advocacy skills and courtroom experience.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
