Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the design, implementation and evaluation of the Learning and Development strategy
  • To manage and develop teams and individuals
  • To plan, implement and support the Organisations vocational training strategy in order to meet SSSC requirements
  • To ensure that the service provided by Learning and Development is of the highest quality
  • To manage a range of resources, including Finance and Administration, to meet service and organisational demands
  • To establish and maintain effective communication

The role is predominantly home-based with travel as required

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience of the design and delivery of a Learning & Development strategy
  • Relevant professional/management qualification
  • The ability to effectively lead and manage staff
  • Sound strategic planning skills with the ability to produce reports and papers to a high standard
  • Change management experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies, standards and their application
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the voluntary sector.
