Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Project Manager to take on a strategic leadership role within the business unit. This is a highly visible position where you will oversee the successful completion of projects, coach and mentor team members, foster relationships with customers, and drive business growth. Your strong business acumen and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success, while contributing to the ongoing development of the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and operational staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize profitability and project efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to business growth.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
Ideal Candidate:
- BS in Engineering, Business and/or Construction
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Industrial Construction Manager, or similar role, with a focus on industrial piping and controls.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and business relationships effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong focus on project success.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, driving business expansion.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with experience managing large-scale industrial projects.
