Job Description
Our firm has been selected to help a leader in packaging equipment find a Regional Sales Manager for the Western Coast - Preferably Southern California or surrounding area. They are well known for strength in the industry as well as atability. With over 50 years of experience and thousands of employees, this company can truly say they are experts in their field. With the expansion of some manufacturing facilities and the growth of business they need a strong sales professional to help dig deep into this territory. The territory includes San Diego CA, Southern California, S. Nevada, Arizona, and candidates should be within 45 min to a major airport. This role will be responsible for selling their complete lines of food process and packaging lines along with automation. If you love consultative solution sales this is a great one as most of the sales will all be custom engineered equipment.
If you ever wanted to be a part of a company that, when you hear the name everyone automatically knows who you are for your quality equipment, then this is it! You will be making about 10-15 appointments to visit customers weekly. Remember when much is asked, much is given. This is not a job for someone who wants to slow down in their career but more for the person with energy to boot, and loves a good challenge. This will be a road warrior position, and candidates must be willing to travel as needed throughout the territory. Recent engineering grads who have some sales experience with a technical product line that leans more towards a mechanical product will also be considered.
Compensation is up to 120 base and has uncapped commissions and a company car along with 3 weeks' vacation to start and amazing health insurance.
Qualifications to be considered :
- Experience selling packaging equipment, food processing equipment, automation and robotics
- Experience using CRM software
- Live in territory
- Proven success record of hitting and achieving metrics
- Willingness to travel as needed (High travel position)
