Temporary Human Resources Generalist Opportunity:
Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Dayshift

The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.
Job Duties include:
- Ensures that applications are processed in a timely manner based on job postings. Phones clinical applicants within 24 hours of receipt of application.
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence and worker’s compensation
- Assist in maintaining record data for each employee including supervisory reports on performance and dates of and reasons for terminations.
- Prepare and set up for new employee orientations.
- Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.

Job Qualifications:
- Some college required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Preferably two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably acute care/behavioral health hospital setting.
- Must be able to maintain and handle confidential documents and information.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
