Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces and ensuring they are visually appealing and well-kept. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general groundskeeping duties to maintain the appearance of outdoor areas
- Digging, Spraying, edging, and power tool operation.
-Perform general maintenance and cleaning of campus through raking, grading, excavating, and hand weeding beds.
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform overall lawn care
- Plant, water, and prune trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely, ensure equipment is kept in operating order.
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of how to operate and maintain power tools for landscaping tasks
- Ability to irrigate plants effectively and efficiently
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various groundskeeping activities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain outdoor spaces aesthetically pleasing
