Position Summary:
Our Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center-West (MMTC-West) team offers personalized consulting services to West Michigan manufacturers to promote operational excellence, business growth, and greater profitability. As Engagement Coordinator for MMTC-West, you will coordinate MMTC-West’s engagement efforts with clients, partners, and other strategic relationships to help strengthen the region’s advanced manufacturing community. You will be responsible for coordinating various MMTC program offerings and working with our internal marketing team to promote services. And you will handle departmental reporting and other administrative and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the coordination of programs and select services, such as User Groups and the Going Pro Talent Fund Grant.
· Event planning and meeting coordination for on-site program and service offerings.
· Coordinate MMTC-West’s marketing activities, including website, promotional materials, and select events.
· Build relationships and communicate with key partners such as community colleges and other industry-related organizations.
· Develop and review proposals for accuracy, verify eligibility requirements are met, and follow-up as necessary.
· Provide administrative and operational support to the MMTC-West team.
Skills and Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of experience working in a client support, marketing, or communications role is required.
· Excellent relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills to maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
· Solid marketing skills to create and coordinate marketing campaigns in partnership with our internal marketing team.
· Strong administrative and project management skills, including the ability to manage calendars, meetings, and multiple projects efficiently.
· Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to consistently meet deadlines and smoothly adapt to changing priorities.

The salary range for this role is $53k-$58k, with exact compensation varying based on skills and experience.
