Technical Account Manager - Remote Travel - Outdoor Power Equipment!

THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global distributor seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to immediately join their regional sales team!
This position will help drive growth in our client's Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) and Agriculture (Ag) markets, focusing on managing accounts that require technical expertise, and utilizing digital engagement, phone outreach, and interactions in-person.

Essential Job Duties:
- Account Management & Growth: Develop and expand relationships with existing clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- On-Site & Remote Support: Provide technical assistance in person and remotely, assisting customers with part troubleshooting and product selection.
- Sales Strategy & CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools (NetSuite preferred) and Power BI to track sales data, analyze trends, and optimize customer engagement.
- Technical Expertise: Respond to client inquiries with in-depth product knowledge, assisting with troubleshooting and technical questions.
- Self-Management & Initiative: Operate independently, managing schedules, setting sales targets, and ensuring consistent engagement with key customers.
- Face-to-Face Client Engagement: Conduct outside sales activities, including warm calling and presentations, to promote outdoor power equipment. Spend significant time meeting with clients, providing hands-on support, and strengthening business relationships.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in automotive electrical systems or aftermarket parts.
- Must have prior inside/outside sales experience with OEM and/or aftermarket parts.
- Must be comfortable using CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Power BI highly preferred.
- Ability to assess sales data, forecast trends, and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Highly motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customer audiences.
Position Benefits, Location, Pay, & Schedule:
- Candidates must reside in Minnesota; Wisconsin; Michigan; or Upper New York.
- 100% remote position w/ 25% to 50% travel - primarily for on-site client visits/meetings.
- Schedule is Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm (regular business hours).
- Pay depends on experience ($55k to $65k base min. 20% ( ) monthly incentive/bonus).
