Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with excellence. This role requires a proactive approach to client service, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management.
Requirements:
- Active property, casualty, and life insurance licenses
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Optional: Insurance or risk management designations (e.g., CIC, CISR, CRM)
- Optional: 3 years of experience in insurance sales
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients
- Regularly communicate with clients to assess their evolving insurance requirements
- Evaluate client insurance portfolios to identify coverage gaps, recommend enhancements, and tailor policies to fit clients' specific risks
- Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage details
- Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals to clients
- Coordinate the renewal process by gathering necessary information, updating applications, and ensuring timely submission to underwriters
- Proactively manage policy changes, endorsements, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products to existing clients, contributing to account growth
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements
- Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
