What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ergonomist / Ergonomic Specialist for Office &Industry - PT, OT, COTA, PTA position at The Rising Workplace, Pllc?
The Rising Workplace is seeking an experienced certified ergonomic specialist or certified ergonomist to provide ergonomic services to office and industrial clients in the Chicago area on an as needed basis.
Applicants should have experience performing ergonomic assessments, consultation, and training.
This is a per diem or per hour contract position.
Applicants should include a cover letter detailing their experience and interest in ergonomics.
Skills and Experience should include
- At least one certification in ergonomics
- Degree in related field from accredited university: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Human Factors, Ergonomics etc.
- Advanced training, credentials, or special interest in ergonomics
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools (ex. D-2, RULA)
- Excellent communication skills with experience and comfort in public speaking and group trainings
- Proficient at generating individual and site reports
- Knowledge of current research, resources, and products related to workplace ergonomics
