At RiteScreen, we are the leading manufacturer of custom window and patio door screens, and we’re looking for dedicated Cutters to ensure our materials are prepared accurately for assembly and shipment. This role is essential to our manufacturing process, ensuring that every cut meets our high-quality standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Cutter, you will play a vital role in preparing and cutting metal stock according to manufacturing specifications. Your responsibilities will include:

Material Cutting & Preparation:

• Review Manufacturing Orders to determine specifications and material quantities.
• Prepare and cut metal stock into accurate lengths for assembly or shipment.
• Use various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Quality Control & Problem-Solving:

• Periodically check finished pieces to ensure quality and uniform completion.
• Identify and resolve minor production issues, escalating concerns as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in cutting operations.

Tool & Equipment Maintenance:

• Inventory tools, parts, and supplies, and notify material handlers when additional supplies are needed.
• Keep tools, machines, and workstations in proper working order.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including required PPE.

Teamwork & Efficiency:

• Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain workflow and efficiency.
• Cross-train in other production functions to enhance team versatility.
• Participate in a safety-conscious culture and ongoing training programs.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals who take pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have:

✔ Experience & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

✔ Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift and handle materials as needed.

✔ Team Player Mentality:

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Willingness to cross-train and support team productivity.

✔ Commitment to Safety & Quality:

• Understanding of PPE requirements and adherence to safety protocols.
• Focus on producing high-quality products with accuracy and consistency.
